Our Musical Director
Greg Wheatley has conducted the Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale since 1997. Greg received his Bachelor's degree in Music from Spring Arbor College and holds a Master's degree in Music Theory from Michigan State University. He is a member of the American Choral Directors Association. Besides directing the Chorale, Greg's musical activities include directing the College Church Singers and teaching as Guest Lecturer in Music Theory at Wheaton College.
Greg can be heard on Sound of Majesty, a nationally syndicated program of hymns and sacred classics aired on Moody Radio. He is also the host of Inside Look with Greg Wheatley, a weekly program featuring in-depth interviews with authors, theologians, artists, and other strategic thinkers.
Greg and his wife, Jennifer, have three children and make their home in Wheaton, Illinois.
Our Chorale Accompanist and
Ensemble Director
Jeri Kellan has been the Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale's accompanist since 1993. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Eastern Illinois University. She was the Glenbard East High School music accompanist from 1973 to 1981, and since 1988 has served as Music Director and Organist at Calvary Episcopal Church in Lombard, Illinois. She works full-time at Glenbard East High School in Lombard as an ELL Instructional Assistant. Jeri has directed the Chorale's Ensemble since 2006.
